Worst go on wigan , calling 28 times no answer
Difficult to get an appointment to see a doctor.
aside from a few issues with my son's prescriptions (only one GP will write his script due to the cost of the medicine- but it works! and that's the main thing really) we haven't had any major issues here, 9 times out of 10 we can get a same day appointment, especially if it's our children who are unwell. two toilets available, one quite large disability friendly. the waiting area is a decent size, ok it does get busy sometimes usually Wednesday morning when they do bloods but the nurses are quite speedy with this, so nothing to complain about really. as with most medical practices there's often a receptionist who likes to think they can diagnose you on the phone and send you on your way (a while ago as a type 1 diabetic with chronic tonsilitis I asked for an emergency appointment due to my conditions, I was told unless I'm having a heart attack I don't need an emergency appointment, to which I replied *I wouldn't be ringing the doctors if I thought I was having a heart attack* needless to say I went to ince out of hours later that evening.Other than this my experiences have been quite fair!
It is with the upmost deepest regret that I have had to change my doctors. I have been a patient of Sullivan way surgery for over 20 years. They have been fantastic with myself my Husband and my four children. They Doctors are amazing they dont rush or judge you. They help you as best as they can and most of all they LISTEN. The staff on reception and behind the scenes and spectacular. Im absolutely gutted to leave this surgery. But due to a house move we are now out of the area. I wish all the staff at Sullivan way all the best and cant thank you all enough for the care and support you have given my family over the last 20 years. Many thanks always Lindsey hardman xxxx
This is my doctors and I have been with them for over 20 years and will never change. They are all fantastic doctors especially Dr Lewis who is very caring and compassionate about her patients. A true doctor of the old school who cares and is very through in all she does
