Cheap ale relaxed atmosphere what more could you ask for
Good pub near the bus station full of older crowd hence never any trouble in here. No young idiots ruining peoples enjoyment. Great range of beers. Lovely friendly staff. Nice beer garden at rear. Reasonable prices.

This place was doing good beer when it wasn't the popular thing to do. Slightly dated interior now but gets 5 stars on the basis of the quality and number of beers on offer
Best pub in Wigan. So many real ales, proper ciders, extensive selection of gins, vodkas and whisky's to choose from! So much choice, so little liver!! Great place, fantastic super fast service all in one comfortable environment. Lovely :)
