Great quirky little place, and loads of choice when it comes to drink.... Perfect location for the 2 X train stations and has live train times. Also does bar snacks / food and has live acts on some evenings. All in all comes highly recommended.
Love this place. Close to the stations. Pie and a pint and an massive selection of international bottled beers with a really nice selection of real ales on draft.
What a treat to stumble on this place whilst waiting for my train. It's been a long time since I've been in a pub that properly celebrates the joy of real ale - well worth a visit.
A gem of a place within Wigan. An extensive array of bottled and draught beers to suit all tastes. Great vibe in the place and also offers live music at certain times. Uniquely placed in the arches of the railway and more than fairly priced for the drinks. Definite recommend for those who like to experiment with new tastes.
Great little spot for solid beer in downtown Wigan, which features beers from the very nearby Prospect Brewing. The space is setup like a train depot (with booths that mimic train cars, even!) and feels small but intimate. There are a ton of beers on offer, including 5 on draught, and another 20 in bottle from all over the country, and world. Food options weren't abundant, but what they had to offer was tasty and affordable. Definitely worth the stop if you're looking for good beer in Wigan.
