If I could vote no star rating I would. They installed our boiler in a new build Rowland home which we have had nothing but trouble from word go and still having problems to date. The big one was the main bedroom radiator! My baby girl that was only just crawling managed to pull the pipe off with water gushing all over our new carpet. They wouldnt come out as they said with my baby girl pulling on it that was our fault. Anyhow turns out it had never been fused ie tightened up when installed and was explained to me by the person who came to our rescue a full grown orangutan should be able to swing off it and it shouldnt of come off. Top and bottom if radiators had been on she would of been scalded and lucky for them they had been off for over an hour. Shameful customer service probabily the worst company I have ever had to deal with closely followed by Rowland homes.
A great company. Did a good job on my new boiler and have used them again for yearly service. Good service and nice staff.
I would stay well clear. Extremely poor customer service, botched jobs and engineers that apparently are qualified as chemists!
I had them fit a boiler under the government scheme and I have just had to have a new boiler fitted after just under 3 years... when my now new boiler was being fitted they discovered that Rothwell plumbers had not soldered my gas pipes together !! Shocking !! They also blew my shower off the wall and left me in a right mess !! I would not recommend these people at all !!
We have an Ecodan boiler system fitted under a government scheme and the household in question is home to my two severely disabled parents who qualified for the scheme due to being low income and vulnerable. The Ecodan system is very modern, Rothwell have proved themselves incompetent when it comes to renewable energy systems and as a result have caused my family 4 months (and on going) stress. Customer service is appalling, treat with disrespect and suspicion. Their lack of knowledge on my family's boiler system has caused the product to fall off the wall and as a result an immense about of damage. They want to charge my parents for the repairs that their incompetence caused. Not only this but the boiler is under 5 years warranty, with one year installation warranty and the problems started within the first year and thus fall under Rothwell's warranty period meaning we should never have been charged for the ongoing problems in the first place. If the first job was done right the damage caused now would have never happened.
