Great day out for a walk lovely area
This beautiful place is only 5 mins from Wigan Town centre, myself and my husband have walked this area for many years with our dog. Over the last couple of years the area has become overwhelmed with the illegal off road bikers and 4x4 car owners who rip up the fields put wildlife in danger and leave all their rubbish including fuel containers - such a same to be destroying such a place which was so beautiful
Great retreat from the hustle & bustle of everyday life.Back to nature with loads of wildlife to capture on film.Wonderful scenery.The only downside is there is as we speek a huge flyover/road being built straight through the middle of it.Huge disruption.Nothing ever gets left alone.Too many people on the planet.The best times have gone i believe.Enjoy it while you can !
A really wonderful facility with dedicated staff. Chdren thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately our experience was spoiled by the amount of dog excrement on the site, at the waters edge lapping into the lake and covering the field connecting the changing rooms.
