I go often with the dog. It's an adventure everytime and he loves it. Bit too muddy this morning and I fell in it but I enjoyed it .
A small but useful open green space in the village of Standish, good car parking, two football fields and a childrens play area, access to woods and more fields as well.
Ashfield park has 4 football pitches (2 are visible from the main road) none of which have adequate drainage. It does not have changing facilities. There are a couple of play areas, one for todlers and one for teens. There used to be a third, beyond the main park. I am too old to comment on these. There is adequate parking and a volleyball facility. I tend to use the park to walk through.
