Amazing place very informative tour and what a brilliant and impressive engine to see working
If you have a soft spot for steam engine's this bad boy will give you a bigger smile and thrill since watching the new tornado steam up. A must see engine! Love it!
My husband, myself, and our 4 yr old daughter went to this place today. We checked the times for opening and set off from Lytham St Anne's, which is a good 50 mins drive away. When we arrived we saw other people waiting. The weather was freezing cold and it was snowing. There was a big sign inside stating the opening times, which were exactly the same as in the website. 45 minutes later and still nobody had come to open the doors, let alone even offer an apology or a reason for not opening. This place has no customer care or value and literally left their customers out in the cold. All someone had to do was to put a note on the window or door explaining what was happening. It would have been a common courtesy... but no! Nothing at all. If this is how they treat their customers then I would advise anyone to stay as far away from this place and their disgusting customer service at all costs!
